Are you a recent graduate looking to gain school-based experience before embarking on a career in teaching or the education sector? Do you have a passion for working with young people and making a positive impact on their school journey?
Milk Education are currently working with Primary schools throughout Newcastle Upon-Tyne, who are looking to appoint Graduates for the academic year on a full-time basis. You will be working with students, aged 5 – 11 that require both academic and pastoral support to ensure they are reaching their expected levels of progress.
You will have the opportunity to work with students on a 1:1 basis providing tailored intervention sessions as well as supporting full class teachers in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to cover lessons gaining invaluable experience prior to starting a PGCE or schools direct teacher training programme.
We are looking for aspiring educators, who have graduated in any of the following categories:
- Maths
- English
- Science
- Languages
- Art and Design
- Psychology or Social Sciences
- Sport & Physical Activity

- Previous experience of working with young people would be beneficial but not essential
- Clear desire to work with young people and become a teacher in the future
- Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
- Willingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk and your placement school
