The Production Coordinator will work as part of the Planning Team and will play an essential role in streamlining operations within a manufacturing setting. This role would suit a resourceful and highly motivated candidate with clear communication skills and who is IT proficient. The Production Coordinator is expected to understand, commit to and support the Planning Manager in coordinating the daily tasks, while maintaining oversight and scheduling of production activities, going through the manufacturing teams. This will also involve collaborating with a key number of departments to overcome issues that are seen.
What will you be doing?
- Work with the planning department to plan, develop, coordinate, and execute production schedules.
- Assist in organising and communicating to the production teams their workload to ensure on-time delivery, including requesting and collating build kits for the manufacturing team.
- Analyze, rectify and provide feedback on production issues to the planning manager in a timely fashion to assist with improving production orders on the ERP system.
- Work closely with the Manufacturing and Operations Team to communicate potential plan changes and resolve constraints in the supply chain.
- Production administration – to include: controlling build-to-stock assembly progress through the build teams, aligning stock builds to upcoming production orders, assisting the manufacturing team in pushing orders through to shipping, and prioritizing daily workload.
