What the Job Involves
The Equipment Lead role is responsible for supporting a system-wide approach to the prescription of assistive equipment and minor adaptations. You will enable evidence-based decision-making for equipment provision, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and community partners. Key responsibilities include managing the budget, delivering equipment training, organising operational meetings, and maintaining the equipment catalogue. You will coordinate the administration of the Trusted Credit Enabled Services (TCES), manage contract performance, and provide advice on best practices to prescribers and providers. The role involves regular liaison with various stakeholders and the implementation of innovative solutions to ensure efficient and modern service provision.
