Here at Lookers, we are recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer, with a fully remote approach and occasional travel to team meetings. Reporting to the IT Security Team Lead, this is an exciting and hands-on role where you will be responsible for all aspects of security across Lookers IT, including our dealerships and online presence. This is a great opportunity to leverage your strong IT background into Cyber security.
Responsibilities
- Providing assurance that our services remain secure to ensure an outstanding retail experience and maintain customer trust.
- Performing daily security operations tasks, owning and addressing operational incidents, and escalating as necessary.
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert for core security technology tools, ensuring they remain fit for purpose, managing their full lifecycle, and training others in their use.
- Managing items on the teamβs backlog and roadmap, delivering point solutions, assessing wider change initiatives for security compliance, remediating deficiencies, and addressing outputs from penetration tests, purple teaming, risk, and audit findings.

- Experience in Risk Management and/or Cyber Security is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to innovate and develop solutions through scripting and development as needed.
