We are looking for an experienced underwriter to join the Professional Lines team in London. This is a rare opportunity to take a meaningful role in a market leading team and further develop your career.
Responsibilities- Execute underwriting strategy
- Business development including identifying distribution, products and building relationships
- Analysing risk, setting pricing and undertaking policy review
- Underwriting in accordance with business plan and Underwriting Guidelines
- Travel and engagement with intermediaries and clients
- Monitor and report on key metrics
- 5 or more years’ experience in underwriting Professional Lines
- Ability to develop business
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly focused, enthusiastic and creative thinker
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to negotiate with sophisticated advisors and clients
