The Technical Representative Lead will act as a key influencer of On's grassroots initiative to service and support retailers in the Midwest Region. On is the most exciting and fastest growing global running shoe brand. Our success is based on exclusive and selective collaboration with the best retail partners we can find, and it is your job to ensure they are delighted with the level of service we provide them.
This role will drive the growth of our team of Tech. Reps in North America to educate, support, and build relationships with the key players and markets we focus on. Your ultimate goal is to get as many trial opportunities as possible and to help runners put the fun into the run with On running gear.
Your Mission
- Manage a growing Technical Representative team of 7+ including recruiting and hiring additional team members
- Develop and coach individual Representatives to enhance their own skills and career growth potential
- Promote On's current Technical Representative Program vision as well as bring fresh, new ideas
- Build strong relationships with Owners, Buyers, Managers, and Sales Associates within North America
- Lead and execute the dealer training experience, Oniversity, multiple times throughout the year as well as support other events as needed
- Develop analytical tools in Salesforce to track progress of the team and make data-informed decisions and recommendations
- Coach the team to be respected, trusted, and liked by our retailers
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Trade, Customer Service, and Finance teams
Your story
- 6+ years of experience in similar roles such as Technical Representative Manager, Technical Representative or Sales Representative
- A track record and reputation of incredible relationships within the industry across the country
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and people simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills that support the process of building a collaborative team
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Looker is a plus
- Event production and execution expertise as well as outside the box thinking on how to grow a team based on individual needs
- Creativity in coming up with new ways to engage retailers and customers that is unique to On
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time; travel percentage will fluctuate based on business needs
- You possess a valid driver's license and are willing to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check as part of the pre-employment process
