The Patient Access Specialist-Scheduling plays a vital role in orchestrating patient interactions with healthcare services through meticulous appointment scheduling and documentation. This position is the primary line of communication between patients, healthcare providers, and various clinic departments, ensuring a seamless flow of information and coordination. Challenges include managing a high volume of information and multitasking under pressure, while maintaining a high standard of customer service and accuracy. Collaboration is key, as the specialist works closely with medical staff, insurance providers, and other departments to verify information and facilitate patient care continuity. The role demands flexibility and adaptability, responding to changing patient needs and clinic demands efficiently.
In Clinic Scheduling at CRMC, our team works behind the scenes to ensure that every patient is seen, every provider's time is maximized, and the clinic operates as seamlessly as possible. It requires attention to detail and the flexibility to adjust in real-time, all while following established workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency in clinic schedules. Whether it's creating a visit to establish care, accommodating urgent appointment requests, or handling unexpected disruptions, we make sure that every schedule (and reschedule) is managed with precision.

Compensation and Benefits: The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience in this role.
