Vickerstock are proud to be partnering with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council to recruit a Visitor service advisor. As visitor service advisor you will be responsible for providing clerical, reception and secretarial support as allocated. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including handling correspondence, managing records, and scheduling. Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner, addressing inquiries promptly and efficiently. Support team members with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations Actively contribute to maintaining a welcoming and customer-focused environment at the Tourist Information Centres. Work closely with staff to meet Tourism Northern Ireland's Minimum Standards, striving for continuous improvement. Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact, promoting local attractions, events, and services to enhance visitor experiences. Qualifications: Grade C or above in at least 4 GCSEs* or equivalent qualification one of which must be GCSE English Language or equivalent and one of which must be a GCSE in a numerate subject or equivalent.
