Permanent position for a Controls Engineer with experience of writing PLC software from scratch for a successful North East based systems integrator. Controls Engineers with experience of Rockwell / Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs and the associated SCADA software will be considered favourably.
Key aspects of the Controls Engineer position include:
- Growing systems integrator with a full order book and opportunities for training and career progression.
- Joining a systems integrator with a very good reputation and working alongside other high calibre, well qualified Controls Engineers.
- Configuring and developing PLC / SCADA software from scratch.
- Understanding and delivering the project lifecycle from concept through to completion.
- Producing specifications and design documentation.
- Testing and commissioning safely in operational end user environments.
- 80/20 split of being office based and working on site for short periods (sites are typically regional but could be national).
