Randstad is proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded and dedicated school in Enfield, London to recruit a dynamic Deputy Head of Sixth Form, who will also take on the role of Subject Lead for Business & Economics. This is a unique leadership opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated educator who is passionate about sixth form education and ready to shape the strategic direction of a thriving post-16 provision, while driving excellence in Business & Economics.
The Role:
- Support the strategic and day-to-day leadership of a large, successful Sixth Form
- Mentor and support colleagues within the sixth form and subject team
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to enhance academic performance and student experience
- Lead the Business & Economics department, ensuring high standards of teaching and outcomes
- Deliver outstanding lessons and contribute to curriculum development
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree
- Proven experience in post-16 education and subject leadership (Business &/or Economics)
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development and raising standards
- Strong track record of student achievement
