They are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead their engineering function through the next phase of growth. You’ll step into a critical leadership role as they scale their platform, deepen their AI/ML capabilities, and strengthen their cross-functional collaboration across product, data science, and client services.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-impact team that blends deep machine learning expertise with a stable and modern cloud-native stack. The Challenge

You’ll be stepping into a dynamic, high-growth environment where:

  • Engineering is central to delivering cutting-edge, AI-driven measurement products for the world’s biggest brands.
  • Their platform is mature, built on GCP, with Golang, Python, Angular, and strong adoption of Vertex AI and Temporal.
  • The engineering team (currently 10) is cohesive, skilled, and based in London. They’re autonomous, humble, and ready to scale.
  • You’ll act as a strategic bridge—partnering closely with Product and Data Science leaders to bring innovation to life while protecting engineering focus and quality.

Your Responsibilities

  • Define and lead their technology strategy, evolving a stable platform without unnecessary disruption.
  • Scale and mentor the engineering team, maintaining a strong, delivery-focused culture.
  • Guide the integration of advanced ML/LLM models, working with a separate but close-knit data science function.
  • Establish clear ways of working across Product, Data Science, and Client Services, buffering engineering from noise while enabling strategic responsiveness.
  • Strengthen SDLC processes, improve quality and testing practices, and reinforce a strong DevOps culture.
  • Serve as a technical figurehead, communicating clearly with internal stakeholders, clients, and board members.
