About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Print Software Operative to join our dynamic production team. In this key role, you will be responsible for file preparation and colour management, specifically within the large format printing environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare print-ready files and manage RIP software (Raster Imaging Processor).
  • Handle colour management processes to ensure accurate, high-quality output.
  • Use AVA CAD software or similar for design and print layout adjustments.
  • Manage print production workflows including file preparation, proofing, and final print output.
  • Maintain efficient production timelines and uphold stringent quality control standards.
  • Operate and maintain large format digital print machines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital printing operations, particularly in a large format environment.
  • Strong proficiency with RIP software, AVA Print Factory or similar, colour management, and file preparation tools.
  • Familiarity with AVA CAD software or comparable design/prepress software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced production setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Your experience could be from a variety of market sectors: including sign writing, label printing etc.
