This crucial role supports the operational efficiency and innovation drive of Wrightbus, a company committed to advancing eco-friendly transportation. Day Shift: 7am – 5pm Monday to Thursday Rate of Pay – Day shift £12.15 Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the compliance with the company’s health and safety policy and procedures ensuring the warehouse & workshop policies are being adhered to. Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment Responsible for all aspects of the storage & preparing goods for shipping; Receiving and inspecting goods into stock o Handling goods with care o Putting goods in correct bin locations within store o Picking and packing goods using appropriate materials o Preparing orders for shipping o Providing high level of service to our customers Ensuring Warehouse procedures and processes are adhered to Accurate kitting and issuing of parts to orders. Transportation of material within the warehouse in a safe manner to ensure on time shipping and that the parts are not damaged. Fork truck use will be required from time to time however full training will be given To participate actively in stocktakes & continuous improvement teams. Must be prepared to work additional hours when requested by management Carryout duties in accordance with the equal opportunity policy. Undertake any training or retraining associated with the post, or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes. Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post. Criteria: Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
