My client is searching for a conscientious and driven Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in Ruby on Rails and client-side JavaScript frameworks. Your Role: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Build and enhance the platform by developing new features and optimising existing ones in collaboration with the product team. Design and implement APIs for web and mobile applications. Integrate with cutting-edge third-party tools and services. Diagnose and resolve complex bugs and performance challenges. Maintain and refine the backend infrastructure supporting web and mobile applications. Experiment with new technologies to drive innovation. What Were Looking For: Extensive Ruby on Rails experience, especially working with large data sets and stable back-end integration techniques (Postgres expertise is highly desirable ). A proven ability to design and implement back-end components. Expertise in creating and maintaining APIs, alongside proficiency in libraries like Sidekiq, Twilio, and Devise. Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as Stimulus JS, ES6, and CSS3. Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git and testing frameworks. Familiarity with performance tools such as NewRelic, Datadog, or PGHero. Experience building GraphQL APIs is a bonus.
