We are recruiting for an Administrator on behalf of our prestigious client in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong organisational skills are essential, including the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. A minimum of GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with the adaptability to handle shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
- Taking and making phone calls.
- Corresponding with conveyancing solicitors and communicating with internal departments.
- Responding to pre-contract enquiries.
- Responding to re-mortgage enquiries.
- Advising on requirements for transfer of equity transactions.
- Providing up-to-date Debtor History Reports to solicitors.
- Liaising with internal Accounts and Property Management departments.
- Administrative assistance to the team.
- Photocopying.
- Scanning.
- Filing/Reviewing Files.
- Responding to emails.
- Reading and interpreting legal documents.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures including confidentiality, equal opportunities, health & safety, and information security.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Producing Information Packs.
- Responding to emails following the issuance of Information Packs.
- Dealing with post-completion documentation, ensuring all requirements are met, and legal documents are acceptable before closing the file and issuing relevant responses and documents (e.g., Certificate of Compliance and Share/Membership Certificates) to the solicitor and sending the file to our internal Set Up department.
- Maintaining company records, handling annual returns, appointments, resignations, and changes of Director details, and submitting these to Companies House in accordance with Company Law.
- Updating shareholder records.
