The successful candidate will be based at our Ballykelly site. Location: Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West, Ballykelly Salary: £23,288 Per annum based on 37.5 hours per week Department: Hospital Services – Planning Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week Responsible to: Capacity/Utilisation Manager Accountable to: General Manager Job Summary As an Appointments Advisor (Inpatient & Daycase), the successful candidate will join a highly dynamic team responsible for scheduling surgical procedure appointments. The candidate will gain an in-depth knowledge of the Surgical booking process across a range of medical specialties. They will be a point of contact for all patients wishing to book or enquire about surgical procedures, so a key part of the role is managing a high volume of communications via phone, email and web based communication. We are looking for highly motivated applicants who are committed to producing quality outcomes and those who thrive on the challenge of working in a fast paced and busy office environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Excellent customer service is something that should come naturally to you along with the ability to display empathy and demonstrate strong listening skills. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Scheduling of surgical procedures within specific time scales Ensuring all records are accurate and up to date relating to patient treatment Liaising with colleagues across a variety of teams Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of department Dealing with queries from patients over the phone, in person and via email, ensuring timely responses Help patients fill in paperwork and request documentation if required Liaising with external agencies in a professional and efficient manner The above list is not exhaustive and additional / alternative tasks may be required from time to time as directed.
