Job title Stakeholder Engagement & Public Affairs Executive Salary starting £34,524 perannum plus attractive pension Invest Northern Ireland is looking for a Stakeholder Engagement and Public Affairs Executive to join our Marketing and Communications Team. The role The Stakeholder Engagement & Public Affairs Executive will play a key role in fostering strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders, including political representatives, government bodies and industry partners, to support the delivery of Invest NIs business strategy and the Minister for the Economys Economic Vision. You will have a strong interest in politics and economic development, with the ability to identify emerging issues in the external environment and analyse its impact on Invest NI activities. You will produce high-quality and engaging content to communicate Invest NIs impact and position the organisation as a trusted partner for economic development. The candidate You will have: Recent experience of stakeholder engagement/partnership management, including developing and implementing strategic communication and engagement plans. Experience of identifying and understanding stakeholder priorities and issues, including a strong understanding of Northern Irelands political landscape at both a NI Executive and local Council level. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences using a range of channels. Experience of researching, developing and writing copy for presentations, briefings and other written materials for senior staff, including ability to interpret and present complex information in plain English. Ability to build and effectively manage strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and work effectively as part of a team to deliver shared objectives. Strong organisational, planning and delivery skills with experience of managing multiple projects at the same time to meet tight deadlines and implement change.
