Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate BCBA Consultant to join a specialist provision for children and young people with autism aged 5–16. You will lead the development, supervision, and evaluation of high-impact ABA/Verbal Behaviour programmes within a warm, well-established school community.
This is a rare opportunity to embed best-practice ABA in a nurturing setting where multidisciplinary teamwork, reflective practice, and pupil progress are at the heart of everything.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments (e.g. VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R)
Design, monitor, and adapt ABA-based teaching and behaviour support plans
Provide supervision and coaching to ABA Tutors, Class Leads, and Trainee Behaviour Analysts
Collaborate with SLT, teachers, SaLTs, and OTs to integrate behavioural, communication, and sensory strategies
Guide data-driven decision-making through regular programme reviews
Support parent training and staff CPD across behaviour, communication, and autism best practice
Ensure fidelity to ethical and clinical standards set by the BACB
You Will Bring
Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
A master’s degree in behaviour analysis, education, psychology, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience working with autistic children/young people
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A collaborative, reflective, and proactive mindset
Experience within a school setting or similar multidisciplinary team environment (preferred)
Confidence delivering in-person supervision and training
