Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager Worcester £50000 – £90000(dependant on experience)We as Butler Rose Practice are honoured to working alongside our clients , a long-established and respected accountancy firm based in Worcester. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and driven Tax Manager OR Senior Tax Manager to lead their mixed tax function. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in both client service and business development. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will oversee both corporate and personal tax compliance functions while providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to a broad and varied client base. This is a hands-on managerial role involving client interaction, complex tax work, and team leadership.Role Responsibilities:

• Manage the firm's corporate and personal tax compliance processes.
• Prepare and review tax computations for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Deliver tailored tax planning and advisory services including reconstructions, share schemes, inheritance tax, and more.
• Expand and develop tax service offerings including VAT consulting, R&D tax credit claims, and Embedded Capital Allowance reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and Directors on complex tax planning assignments.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships.
• Build and nurture internal and external professional networks to drive business development.
• Supervise, coach, and develop junior tax staff to build a strong and capable team.
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients, ensuring high service standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified CTA and/or ACA (or equivalent); degree-level education preferred
• Extensive and current knowledge of UK taxation, with a focus on both corporate and personal tax matters.
• Proven experience handling complex tax issues and the ability to explain them clearly to clients.
• Strong project management and staff supervision skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a significant portfolio profitably while identifying growth opportunities.
• Background in both tax compliance and tax advisory/planning, gained in a public accounting environment.
• Experience across multiple areas of tax, including:o Trust taxation and inheritance tax (IHT) planning.o Capital gains tax and related reliefs.o Corporate tax strategy for owner-managed businesses.
