Senior Associate/VP - Real Estate Debt Advisory

A leading boutique investment and advisory firm is seeking a high-calibre Senior Associate/VP to join its Real Estate Debt Advisory team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment advising on complex, structured real estate transactions predominantly in the UK

The firm specialises in bespoke capital solutions for real estate developers and investors, with a particular focus on commercial real estate asset classes. Typical transaction sizes range from £20 million to £100 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring and execution of real estate development and investment debt mandates.
• Manage full transaction life cycles: financial analysis, lender engagement, documentation negotiation, and deal closing.
• Maintain and grow relationships with developers, investors, and a broad network of lenders, including banks, funds, and alternative capital providers.
• Underwrite and assess real estate opportunities across multiple asset classes including hotels, PBSA, and retail
• Prepare and present marketing materials, investment memoranda, and pitch documents.
• Work directly with senior leadership and contribute to business development efforts and strategic growth initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in real estate debt advisory, investment banking, lending, or capital markets, with a knowledge of commercial asset classes.
• Ability to execute complex real estate transactions and manage client and lender relationships independently.
• Understanding of real estate debt markets, capital structures, and key underwriting metrics.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, highly motivated, and comfortable working in a lean, dynamic team.
