This is a permanent, full-time position. My client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance team of 4. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments from clients. Conduct thorough analysis of customer accounts to identify overdue payments and potential credit risks. Communicate with clients via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices. Record and maintain accurate data entry of all transactions and communications in accounting software. Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and collection activities for management review. Assist in efforts to promote payment plans or settlement options for clients in arrears. Maintain an organised filing system for all credit-related documentation. To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role.
