Salary: £80,000–£100,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We are exclusively partnering with a top-tier global energy trading business to find an experienced LNG Risk Analyst with proven exposure to physical LNG markets.

This is a high-visibility position in a growing global risk team, supporting one of the firm’s most commercially important desks. You’ll be embedded in the heart of the LNG business — helping to assess market risk, structure risk tools, and directly influence trading decisions.

The Opportunity

• Act as the key market risk analyst for a complex and global physical LNG portfolio
• Monitor, measure, and challenge risks arising from physical cargoes, storage, shipping, and long-term SPAs
• Deliver accurate and insightful daily risk reporting: VaR, stress tests, P&L explain
• Work cross-functionally with trading, structuring, shipping, and middle office teams
• Contribute to ongoing system and model enhancements, with a focus on LNG-specific exposures

Essential Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in a commodity risk role, with direct exposure to physical LNG markets
• In-depth understanding of LNG value chains: supply, delivery, shipping, and contract optionality
• Experience working alongside or supporting LNG traders
• Strong analytical skills and fluency in Excel; Python or SQL a plus
• Confident communicator with a proactive, commercial mindset
