Overview: VANRATH now stands as the first-tier supplier to a range of Top 100 Northern Ireland organisations, SMEs, Public Sector organisations, Health and Social Care Trusts and NFP Organisations. We are currently looking for a Data Processing Advisor to one of our public sector organisations, a civil service body, in Belfast. They are wanting to bring in a Data Processing Advisor for 8+ weeks initially and are looking for relevant expertise in the management of data using software such as MS Excel, MS Access and PowerBI.
They need someone who can provide advice in data processing and reporting mechanisms and apply them in the creation of a new and resilient data collection, collation, retention and reporting processes which meet the needs of their operational business. The focus is on obtaining the assistance of an adviser who has expertise in the use, management and development of data systems which use standard software tools (e.g. Excel, Access and Power BI) and the practical experience to identify which systems (including alternative systems) may best enable the organisation to fulfil its objectives.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience within a professional enterprise environment (public sector would be a major plus)
- Experience of managing data
- Experience of creating reports
- Strong capability in MS Excel, MS Access and PowerBI
- Strong communicator and positive team player
- Must be able to commit to completion of contract
