We're looking for a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our agile DevOps teams. You'll be instrumental in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable cloud platforms that host vital services for the UK Public Sector.

What you'll be doing:

  • Engineering Excellence: Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of production systems with a strong focus on automation and security.
  • DevOps & Automation: Drive the implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to build robust, repeatable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, product owners, and customers to deliver best-in-class cloud solutions.
  • Operational Insight: Monitor systems, improve reliability, and maintain service dashboards to maximize availability and performance.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Upskill Crown Servants and maintain top-tier documentation.

Who we're looking for:

  • A Cloud Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on, senior-level AWS experience.
  • Proven expertise with IaC tools like Terraform & Ansible.
  • Experience in scaled Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles within a DevOps context.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex solutions.
  • UK Government SC clearance is required. DV clearance is a plus.
