Usually (but not always) the first step on the road to becoming a fully fledged Project Manager. Yours is a swiss army knife of a skillset. You’ve got more stuff in your locker than the random drawer in my kitchen and let’s face it without you, projects are doomed to fail. I’m looking for someone like you to join a tech client of mine on a permanent basis as they execute some big growth plans in 2025 and beyond.
You’ll need to have worked in a software delivery environment for this particular role but beyond that you’ll have countless opportunities to grow and develop, working alongside a team of specialists and engaging with some of the biggest customers in the industry my client operates in.
You’ll be:
- Assisting with the project planning, management, control and closure activities including creation and maintenance of plans and schedules, and resource and risk management.
- Preparing project boards and report templates, communication templates and other project administration activities in accordance with project requirements.
- Preparing project documentation including project briefs, project initiation documentation and project planning documents.
- Preparing and presenting updates and project reports to clients via written reports, MS Teams meetings or ticket status updates.
This is a hybrid role with plenty of flexibility to work remotely but you’ll benefit from being within a commutable distance of their Chelmsford to allow touch points every couple of weeks. There’s a base salary of £30-35,000 on offer plus benefits AND in addition to 24 days annual leave this business has implemented the 9 day fortnight meaning every other week you get Friday off.
