The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Become proficient as a generalist CSS across the Seequent product range including Volsung, Leapfrog, Edge, Contaminants Extension, Central, and other products or solutions as required;
- Learn from customers how, what, where, and why they are using our products or competitive products, and the problems they are attempting to solve, then feed that information back to the appropriate teams within the business;
- Develop and share your own technical expertise to provide advisory support to customers, colleagues, and peers, enabling their success;
- Demonstrate ability to question, listen, and analyze to establish the current and desired states;
- Provide solutions appropriate to clients’ needs to improve their business results;
- Respond to customer technical queries with timely and professional support;
- Build trust and become a business partner and trusted advisor to clients, peers, and prospective customers;
- Work as part of the regional team to identify and pursue opportunities within new and existing customers;
- Gather market intelligence;
- Participate in market development activities such as demonstrations, webinars, and providing product information to prospective customers;
- Maintain the client database accurately to support market and sales activities.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in geology or hydrogeology, or a closely-related discipline (please note if you don't hold this qualification, you will not be considered);
- Minimum 3 years’ industry experience in geothermal, oil & gas, CCS, hydrogeology, or reservoir engineering;
- Experience with Volsung, Leapfrog, or Central is advantageous;
- Technical orientation and curiosity about software functionality, with a passion for becoming an expert user and technical guru;
- Strong relationship-building skills;
- Ability to support sales with technical insights, advice, demonstrations, and solution architecting during pre-sales activities;
- Confidence in providing pre-sales technical support and leading technical aspects of customer engagements;
- Proactive communication with sales teams and management;
- Ability to demonstrate and train customers effectively across software solutions, including at executive and technical levels;
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills; additional languages are a plus;
- A self-starter attitude, able to work independently and manage workload effectively;
- Problem-solving skills, persistence, and ability to prioritize;
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
