Role summary: We are delighted to be recruiting a Specialist Outreach Practitioner to join our specialist service, as part of our vibrant team.

Our specialist and friendly team of staff and volunteers have been providing independent, free, confidential and trauma-informed services to survivors of sexual violence in Oxfordshire since 1979.

The Specialist Outreach Practitioner will make a real difference to survivors of sexual violence who face the greatest barriers to support. They will lead a trauma-informed outreach project in Oxfordshire, delivering one-to-one personalised psychoeducation and support to survivors affected by multiple inequalities, such as homelessness, disability, and/or complex mental health needs, to support survivors with their trauma recovery journey.

This role would be ideal for someone who has experience in:

· An outreach or therapeutic role, with a trauma-informed approach

· Providing one-to-one support to people with complex needs, including risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis support

· Supporting people who are survivors, homeless people or people with mental-ill health

The successful candidate will also have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.

Contract: 35 hours (full time). Fixed Term – 18 Month Contract (with possible extension subject to funding)

Location: East Oxford, with some working from home, and travel across Oxfordshire.
