This role provides a fantastic opportunity to the right candidate to be at the forefront of developing and sustaining the social housing sector workforce. The main purpose of the role of Learning & Development Executive (Young Housing Professionals) is to provide support to Share students through the delivery of qualifications, assessment support and supervision, with responsibility for data monitoring and compliance for the respective accredited bodies. This role will primarily be concerned with qualifications and training aimed at young and new housing professionals, with opportunities to support other areas of learning as the role develops. The role will also lead our Young Housing Professionals Network, support our annual Young Housing Professionals Conference, and build our eLearning offering.
Main tasks of the role:
- Assessing and supporting our Modern Apprentices in Housing, specifically through delivery of SVQ Level 2 in Housing and Core skills, including registration and induction of learners, and processing payment claims.
- Delivering CIH SCQF Level 5 in Housing; including preparation of content, registration and induction of learners, monitoring and marking of submissions.
- Delivery of other relevant training and learning.
- Ensuring compliance with various accreditation bodies, conducting regular internal audits of data in compliance with contractual and legal obligations (eg GDPR).
- Conducting Annual Quality Assurance review for MA provision and implementing improvement actions.
- Supporting MA’s in development of meta skills through delivery of regular training workshops and reviews.
- Lead the Young Housing Professionals Network, securing venues and speakers for quarterly meetings, and supporting marketing of this.
- Provide regular assistance to the marketing team in the creation of content aimed at Young Housing Professionals or their line managers.
- Create eLearning materials designed to support students and the wider Share audience.
Main Areas Of Responsibility Of The Role:
- Assessment and Training Delivery: Ensuring regular, supportive communication with all Modern Apprentices, in order to support their qualification journey. Delivery of high-quality training and development support to new housing professionals on a 1-2-1 or group basis. Build internal resources at Share so that we can provide holistic training support to young or new housing professionals through eLearning creation and workshop delivery.
- Data Monitoring and Compliance: Maintain systems and processes to ensure a high level of data integrity in line with our contractual obligations to the relevant accredited bodies. Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits for relevant accredited bodies.
- Network and Relationship Building: Promote the Young Housing Professionals Network by sourcing engaging speakers, and supporting the marketing of this. Build network to support employers in recruitment, retention and support of YHP.
- Other: Support events teams in creation of programme for Annual Young Housing Professionals Conference. Create blogs and articles to support YHP and their employers. Any other duties considered reasonable within the general level of responsibility attached to this post.

Qualifications:
- Assessor/Verifier Awards (L&D9di/L&D11/equivalent) or a willingness to achieve these within 6 months of appointment.
- CIH Level 3 Housing or Maintenance (desirable).

- This role requires regular travel to MA locations across the central belt of Scotland and occasionally beyond. Applicants must have a full UK driving license and access to their own car.

- Competitive pay: The salary for this role is £34,000 - £37,000, dependant on experience.
