Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey, and provides motor finance to a network of car dealerships throughout the United Kingdom. We are now looking for an MI Manager responsible for developing and maintaining standardised automated reporting processes that conform with data governance requirements across SCUK’s operations. This role is key to ensuring business-as-usual KPIs can be measured by leadership teams and that ongoing change is supported by meaningful, analysed data. Please note this role is a hybrid role with at least days a week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining standardised automated reporting to streamline operations and ensure a single source of truth for tracking performance.
- Creating clear and engaging visualisations for data presentation.
- Managing various initiatives and contributing to overall programme and project deliverables through meaningful reports and complex data analysis.
- Employing a “rapid response service” for quick business questions.
- Defining, creating, and maintaining data for ad-hoc and regular reporting, as well as dashboards for decision-making.
- Handling large data volumes using SAS, SQL Server, and Business Objects.
- Communicating, presenting, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Creating and updating procedure guides to document tools and reports.
- Promoting sound governance and working within control frameworks to ensure data accuracy.
- Adhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty by prioritising customer needs and maintaining high standards of consumer protection.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a complex MI-producing role.
- Expertise in data visualisation.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and complex formulas.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL Server, and Business Objects.
- Strong database interrogation and programming skills.
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards.
- Experience in implementing data quality control mechanisms.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical writing skills for documentation.
