Join our clients team at a leading public sector organisation in Belfast, where your expertise will make a significant impact on our critical operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance. Administer and support Oracle RAC environments, ensuring seamless operation. Perform database tuning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Collaborate with development teams to optimise database designs and queries. Implement and manage Oracle software and tools, including RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM. Monitor database performance and proactively address any issues. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organisational policies. Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Oracle DBA in a professional environment. Expertise in Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and other Oracle technologies. Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, backup, and recovery. Familiarity with Oracle Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
