Ashton Recruitment requires several Parcel Sorters for our highly successful client based at Nutts Corner. Our client is open Sunday to Friday, so candidates can choose their own days each week. There is a minimum requirement to work at least one shift per week. Position: Dayshift Parcel Sorters – Pick your own days Location: Nutts Corner Duration: Temporary (Permanent vacancies may become available dependent on performance) Rate of Pay: £11.50 to £11.75 per hour (Over 21), £10.50 per hour (Under 21) Hours of Work: 10am to 7.30pm (Candidates can pick their own days as our client operates 6 days a week) Successful candidates must be flexible to work occasional Sunday shifts 10am – 6.30pm Duties will include (but not be limited to): Loading and unloading Lorries Sorting parcels into geographical area dependent on postcodes General Housekeeping within the Warehouse Assisting all other Warehouse Operatives to ensure deadlines are met Scanning products using hand-held scanners All other warehousing duties as required Adhering to all health and safety procedures as set out by the client Essential Criteria: Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehousing environment Own transport is necessary due to location of the warehouse Applicants must be over 18 due to the nature of work.
