Program Goal: Deliver advanced trainer jets by 2027 to support pilot transition to aircraft like the F-15.

Role Overview: Zachary Piper is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer to lead the integration of aircraft systems (avionics, propulsion, structures) for a next-gen trainer jet. This role focuses on systems thinking, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead system integration across avionics, propulsion, and structures.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through design, testing, and validation.
  • Oversee support teams in structures, systems, software, and aerodynamics.
  • Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence.
  • Ensure standardization across all jets and support SVR milestone.

Project Phase: Finalizing design and building 5 initial jets. Preparing for pilot training. Major milestone: 2027 System Verification Review (SVR).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years in aircraft systems integration.
  • Strong leadership and project management experience.
  • Proficiency in tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or similar.
  • Familiarity with MBSE and regulatory standards (FAA, EASA).

Additional Info: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain Secret clearance. No current clearance needed. 100% onsite role.

Compensation: $145,000- $150,000 PTO, Holidays, Medical Benefits
