This role is within the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team and involves analyzing risks, tracking cyber threats, and developing threat indicators to enhance LSEG\’s defenses. Key Responsibilities Triage, investigate, and remediate threat intelligence events. Collaborate with Security Operations and Cyber Security teams for threat investigations. Identify and evaluate new intelligence sources and integrate them into monitoring tools. Develop intelligence partnerships for high-quality threat analysis. Conduct cyber threat intelligence activities, maintaining high standards of confidentiality. Stay updated on vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures. Research and develop detection rules based on adversary TTPs. Technical / Job Functional Knowledge Experience in data analysis and interpretation from various sources. Interest in geopolitical events and cyber threat actor activities. Knowledge of open-source intelligence techniques. Understanding of networks, TCP/IP, and common protocols used by malware. Experience in security event analysis, incident handling, and root-cause analysis. Knowledge of attacker techniques and procedures, ideally from direct experience. Personal Skills and Capabilities Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Security certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, CCNA are preferred. Programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, C#) are preferred. Willing to undergo security clearance processes. Experience with regulations governing cyber intelligence and handling sensitive data. Experience in cyber threat hunting using adversary TTPs. Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK.
