Lancashire Mind is recruiting for a Children and Young People’s School Lead. In this exciting and challenging role, you will mobilise, lead and develop projects in educational settings across Lancashire. Job title: CYP Schools Lead Hours: 35 hours (Full-Time) Contract: Fixed term until 31 December 2025, with the high likelihood of extension Salary: £31,556 Responsible to: Head of CYP Services Location: Contractual base is Chorley. Meetings with schools will take place across Lancashire: Blackpool, Central and West Lancashire, North Lancashire and East Lancashire. We are seeking a confident and motivated individual to lead our Children and Young People's School team. We are looking for someone with experience in cultivating positive relationships within schools, and with a strong understanding of the mental health challenges faced by schools.   You will lead our school delivery programme; liaise with schools to understand their needs and agree delivery, overs and assess performance, complete all necessary reporting, manage the relationship with the funder, and demonstrate the impact of our CYP services on children and young people. You will manage a small team, offering leadership and support in their roles while handling all necessary HR processes. Building strong relationships with other CYP service providers across Lancashire will be key. You will collaborate closely with fellow CYP Leads at Lancashire Mind, the wider CYP team and colleagues to ensure we deliver an integrated service that effectively meets the needs of children and young people across Lancashire. You will have experience working with schools and colleges and will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships. This is an exciting time for Lancashire Mind as our children and young people’s services are growing, enabling us to reach and support more young people.
