We\βre looking for a seasoned luxury and lifestyle advertising specialist to spearhead our commercial activity across premium sectors β from advertising sales to long-term luxury brand partnerships and bespoke events. This is a senior, strategic role for someone with a deep understanding of the luxury market and a clear vision for how brands can align with The Spectator\βs voice, values and audience.
You\βll work across high-end categories including property, automotive, fashion, food and drink, travel, and design. Whether developing integrated media campaigns, curating event partnerships, or structuring multi-channel collaborations, you\βll be responsible for delivering standout commercial work and cultivating enduring relationships with premium clients.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in luxury advertising or brand partnerships , ideally within a media or publishing environment.
- A strong track record of strategic sales across high-end sectors such as property, fashion, automotive, fine dining, travel, and interior design.
- Deep understanding of the luxury market landscape , including key players, audience behaviours, and current trends.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with premium clients and luxury brand stakeholders.
- Proven success in conceptualising and delivering integrated campaigns , including print, digital, experiential, and event activations.
- Commercial creativity β able to spot and develop bespoke brand alignment opportunities that reflect The Spectator\βs tone and readership.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills , with confidence engaging senior marketing leads and agency teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take ownership of new initiatives and drive growth across the luxury category.
- Comfortable working across departments β including editorial, events, and digital teams β to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a varied commercial pipeline with attention to detail and deadlines.
- A genuine affinity with The Spectator\βs values, cultural coverage and discerning readership.
