Your new role As a Senior Electronic Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing, controlling, and coordinating New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from the quoting phase through to product realisation.
You will ensure a seamless transfer of projects into production while meeting deadlines, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Your main responsibilities will include leading and managing multiple concurrent projects, translating customer electrical and electronic schematics into manufacturing data, developing bills of materials, creating operator build instructions and process documentation, and providing technical support for customisations of existing electronic product designs.
What you’ll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering manufacturing environment, with experience in electrical and electronic assemblies and a solid understanding of associated manufacturing processes.
Proven project management experience is essential.
A degree or HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is desirable, along with prior experience in printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing engineering, cable manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, and system integration.
Familiarity with programming equipment and machinery used in surface-mount PCBA manufacturing, proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software packages, and experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems are advantageous.

Additionally, the company is currently trialling a 4-day work week, offering flexible shift patterns.
If the trial is successful, these hours will become permanent contracted hours.
