Indirect Category Buyer

Overview

We are working with a large industrial company based in Staffordshire seeking Indirect Category Buyers to join their team. The role focuses on procurement in the consumables category and supports building procurement and supply chain capabilities in Mobility, Defense & Advanced Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Working in the consumables category
• Manage the whole strategy as well as strategy creation
• Ownership over RFI, RFP, RFQ processes
• Scout, source, negotiate & onboard all suppliers with total autonomy
• Complete category management

Qualifications

• Experience in Indirect purchasing
• Previous management of APV above £10m
• Prior category management experience (scouting, RFx processes, negotiating)
