We now have a vacancy for a Data and Management Information Analyst.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in collecting, analysing and auditing data sets to identify trends and provide clients and the firm with valuable management information that can be used to improve operational, business or marketing practices.
The main duties of the data and MI analyst will include making their insights accessible to the firm and its clients through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports.
To be successful you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and use these to build effective relationships with others both inside and outside the firm.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Heads of Departments, Business Support functions (including marketing, IT and finance), and clients to understand their data needs and provide tailored insights.
Work closely with specific practice areas toensure data integrity by regularly auditing and maintaining data cleanlinessfor large public and private sector clients.
Performing statistical analysis of data from various sources to extract information to identify trends and insights.
Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients.
Through interpretation of data sets, identifying and recommending new ways to improve service delivery and/or make efficiencies for the firm and/or its clients.
Provide training and tools for teams to access and utilise data effectively.
Build and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of firm and client KPIs/metrics.
Interpret data and generate actionable recommendations for the firm and for its clients.
Research new ways to make use of data.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Educated to degree level standard or equivalent experience.
Broad knowledge and understanding of a professional services organisation.
Proven experience working as a Data and/or Management Information Analyst.
Technical expertiseregarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
Strong knowledge of, and experience with, reporting packages.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets.
Stronganalytical skillswith the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
