Job Responsibilities Contract Review and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive reviews of GOLD (over £250k p.a.) and SILVER (£50k-£250k p.a.) contracts to assess value for money, identify inefficiencies, and highlight opportunities for savings. Prioritize SILVER contracts initially to develop a structured savings plan. Negotiation Planning: Develop strategies to cancel underutilized contracts, consolidate contracts across similar suppliers, and optimize licensing costs by adjusting license types and numbers. Supplier Consolidation and Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cross-organizational supplier consolidation, especially in areas like communication tools and BI solutions, proposing options to bundle and renegotiate for better value. Strategic Supplier and Contract Management Review: Review and improve governance of key vendor relationships, especially those serving multiple departments, to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks. Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and present clear, actionable plans with savings estimates and next steps.
