Nursery Room Leader

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Room Leader to join our vibrant team. As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development journey of children in your care. You will be responsible for leading a team, maintaining a nurturing environment, and ensuring that each child receives the best care and education according to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the daily running of the room, ensuring high standards of care and education are delivered. Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Observe and assess children\’s learning and development, providing tailored support to help them flourish. Foster strong relationships with parents and support them in their child\’s learning journey. Provide mentoring and guidance to staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive team culture. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents. Requirements: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a childcare setting. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead a team and manage the day-to-day operations of the room. Passion for working with young children and commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
