Reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director, this is a well-rounded role offering a market-leading salary and is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to join an established finance team or for an ambitious accountant to step up into a senior position with a forward-thinking company.
Key responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual accounts, including accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and month-end reconciliations.
Consolidate financial reports from various departments and group entities.
Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and KPIs, providing insights Ensure compliance by preparing and submitting VAT and RCT returns.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Lead year-end audits, liaising with auditors Develop and implement financial reporting policies and controls to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor and support junior finance team members in their development.
Carry out additional duties as required.
Requirements: Qualified Accountant (e.g.
CIMA, ACA, ACCA) f Must be IT proficient and competent in use of Excel Spreadsheets, ERPs Able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of financial systems.
