About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our Complex Care team, supporting a gentleman with a spinal injury in his family home. Your role will be to ensure he lives a fulfilled life while his complex health needs are well managed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care tailored to the client\’s needs
Support with hoisting/manual handling and bowel management
Promote independence and well-being
Drive the client\’s wheelchair-accessible vehicle when required
Client Preferences
Physically active
Previous experience supporting individuals with spinal injuries
Ideally experienced in working with deaf clients (sign language advantageous)
Shift Pattern
Ad hoc 24-hour shifts to cover sickness and annual leave
Includes a sleeping night shift
Pay & Benefits
£320 per 24-hour shift
Requirements
Minimum 6 months\’ experience in a caring role
Experience with spinal injury and hoisting
Experience with deaf individuals preferred
Driver essential
Enhanced DBS check and three years\’ continuous referencing
