Highways Engineer

Access Talent Group are recruiting for an independent multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, who work both in the UK and internationally. They are looking to bring in a Highways Engineer to join their growing highways and Civil team. You will be involved in a wide variety of existing and new projects working across a number of sectors, an opportunity to work focused on innovation and client delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

• Competent in using AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D
• Understanding of hydraulic design in relation to storm and foul water drainage network design
• Understanding of highway design principles
• Appreciation of flood risks and sustainable drainage principles
• Ability to write technical reports
• Ability to communicate clearly and presenting technical information
• Aptitude to develop technical skills and further learning
• Understanding of Health & Safety and environmental procedures

Job Responsibilities:

• Working within a team environment
• Mentoring and coaching talent
• Supporting Group Director and Regional Director to achieve budget and strategy targets
• Working closely with business managers on resource management, utilisation monitoring, and pipeline management
• Developing business and project management and technical delivery of highway schemes and infrastructure projects

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum
