Are you a detail-oriented administrator with a passion for delivering exceptional client service? We’re working with a well-regarded law firm in St Albans who are looking for a Legal Support Administrator to join their busy and supportive team.
In this full-time, office-based role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the Private Client and Residential Property departments. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new clients, managing compliance checks, and assisting with new business enquiries — all while helping to ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Open and close files (electronic and physical) in line with firm policies
- Handle new client onboarding: verify ID, input data, complete AML and conflict checks
- Prepare and issue client care documents and terms of service
- Support legal teams by flagging any compliance issues during file opening
- Maintain accurate client and contact databases
- Respond to internal and external queries in a timely, professional manner
- Take new enquiries via phone, email, website or in person
- Support Private Client team with administrative tasks
- Provide general assistance to the wider support team where required
- Previous legal secretarial, administrative or office-based experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks
- Friendly and confident communicator – both written and verbal
- Tech-savvy with experience using case or practice management systems (desirable)
- Knowledge of legal compliance or AML processes is a plus
