Your new company A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 50 years of experience is looking for junior/intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their newly formed MEP Department. As one of the largest and most reputable firms, they have a proven track record of delivering diverse projects in the commercial, education, health, and residential sectors. This is a unique and exciting chance to contribute significantly to the growth of an innovative MEP Department. Your new role Designing electrical building services for a diverse range of projects. Collaborating with various in-house design disciplines. Liaising with clients. Producing briefs, specifications, design drawings, conducting surveys, and preparing cost estimates. Undertaking surveys and writing technical reports. Participating in design team and site meetings. Developing within a team of engineers. What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified in electrical engineering/architectural engineering or building services. Knowledgeable and experienced with UK Building Regulations. At least 2 years of experience in building services design. Proficient in BIM/Revit or willing to develop these skills. Excellent communication abilities. Proficient in all Microsoft and CAD systems. A team player with the ability to positively influence team members.
