– £40,000 About the Position We are seeking a skilled BIM Technician (MEP) to join a leading engineering consultancy in Belfast.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects, contributing to innovative designs and ensuring seamless coordination of MEP systems.
What Youll Do Develop and manage Building Information Models (BIM) for MEP systems using software such as Revit and AutoCAD Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met Ensure compliance with BIM standards, workflows, and protocols, including ISO 19650 Create and coordinate detailed 3D models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Participate in clash detection and resolve issues to ensure integrated and accurate designs Support project delivery by providing technical input and maintaining project documentation What Were Looking For A relevant qualification in Building Services Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field Experience with BIM software, particularly Revit (MEP module) and AutoCAD Knowledge of MEP systems and their integration in building design Familiarity with BIM standards and processes, including ISO 19650 and clash detection tools such as Navisworks Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with prior experience in construction, engineering, or MEP design preferred Why This Role?
