We’re seeking an SC Cleared experienced IAM Engineer with expertise in Okta FedRAMP environments and enterprise identity architecture. You’ll lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of IAM solutions that enable secure, scalable, and compliant access across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions in Okta FedRAMP environments.
  • Evaluate current IAM processes and architect solutions to meet evolving business and security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues across cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Contribute to and review technical designs, code, and architecture for maintainability and scalability.
  • Lead production deployments with minimal service disruption.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., architecture diagrams, design specs, best practices).
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to IAM.
  • Contribute to platform APIs and infrastructure-as-code using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write high-quality, testable code to support IAM platform components.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Current SC Clearance
  • 10+ years in a technical engineering role, with 5+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
  • Proficient in Python or similar languages (e.g., Java, Go).
  • Experience designing and operating large-scale, high-throughput, low-latency systems.
  • Strong understanding of at least one major public cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SC Cleared - current and valid
  • Okta certifications and/or hands-on experience with Okta's FedRAMP offerings.
  • Experience with identity governance, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and federated identity systems.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
