This pivotal role involves shaping and executing regional strategy, capturing high-value opportunities, and building lasting relationships with government, military, and para-public clients. This role requires up to 12 weeks in the UK for training and induction.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead business development efforts for opportunities up to £20M across the MENA region.
  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies and winning proposals.
  • Drive contract renewals and identify new revenue streams within our portfolio.
  • Represent Draken at key defence and aviation events and air shows.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver innovative, mission-critical solutions.

What You Bring

  • A proven track record in sales and business development within the aviation or defence sectors.
  • Deep understanding of government and military procurement processes in the Middle East.
  • Previous UK military experience is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A collaborative leadership style that fosters inclusion, performance, and innovation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the MENA region.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to pass basic UK MOD Security clearances.
