My client is an international law firm currently seeking an International Tax Senior Manager to join their Tax team reporting directly to the Head of Tax of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee international tax compliance and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liaise with local CFOs and external advisors on tax legislation, audits, and filings.
- Review tax returns for legal entities and individual partners.
- Support year-end processes including tax reserve and equalisation calculations.
- Advise on withholding tax, cross-border transactions, and interoffice settlements.
- Advise on international tax projects such as M&A, business travel policies, and intra-group reorganisations.
- Support the Audit Committee on global tax risks and fairness.
- Mentor junior team members and support process improvements.
Experience and skills:
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with global stakeholders.
- Broad knowledge of international tax issues, ideally within professional services or partnerships.
- ACA or equivalent accounting qualification.
