Abacus is partnering with a leading Northern Ireland practice that seeks an Associate or Senior Associate to join their growing Healthcare team.

The firm’s work is partner-led and carried out by a hand-picked client team with a strong focus on communication, both within the team and with clients.
The company prioritises maintaining an open-door policy by partners, ensuring seamless workstreams, and placing emphasis on employee well-being and support.
You will be representing a range of professionals such as surgeons, GPs, obstetricians, plastics surgeons, nurses, nursing homes and private hospitals.
You will support the team to provide guidance on a range of matters including: Clinical Negligence Claims Professional Negligence Claims Regulatory Complaints and Investigations Practice Based Complaints Coroners Inquests Criminal Investigations and Clinical Crime Internal Hospital Disciplinary Investigations Public Inquiries The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Proven experience of handling a range of claims, preferably including medical negligence.
All levels of PQE are of interest including recently qualified who feel they want to focus on a specialist area.
A passion for delivering results Excellent communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with clients and other legal professionals Open to applications from both Plaintiff and Defence practitioners.
